So, how much is this going to cost?
The LAN Party is $15 per computer. Registration will close 3 days before the start of the event so don't be lazy. Servers are free (ask first).

Can I put that on my tab?
You pay before you play. Please find either SpecOps or Nightwolf to confirm your admittance to the party before jacking into the network.

Are you guys gonna feed me?
The location has a snack bar and a resturaunt in it. There is also a full bar. So bring money with you for food or drinks.

You'll let me borrow your box for a minute, won't you?
No. If you plan to play, bring a computer. If you don't have a computer, don't plan to come.

But you won't mind if I slip on real quick while you are away, will you?
Respect other people's property. Don't play with toys that aren't yours unless you have permission.

What's the power situation?
Power strips are provided and taped down to the tables. Just come in and plug in. You can bring your own power plugs if needed but please contact one of us before using it. We do have tight power issues and need to dispersed power evenly across our network.

We're all slobs, aren't we?
PICK UP AFTER YOURSELF! I may be prettier than her, but I am not your mother.

But aren't we? Deep down inside?
If the bathroom toilets back up, for the love of God, please tell us!

The setup, or what happens on network fridays?
We make Friday available to reserved people, who just cant get enough. I recommend bringing your computer down Friday after 6:30PM so you/we can get the computers set up and on the network. A problematic computer may take a while to get up and running, and they can really put a damper on your gaming weekend. We have had almost all the problems you can fathom, from bad cat 5 cables to bad software drivers, all of which can be fixed given the time and effort. This is also the time to bring your computer down if you don't have a network card or drivers installed, and need someone to install the card for you. If you don't have a card at all, let us know in advance, and we can have one there for you. Most computers will be plugged in and on the network within 20 minutes of arrival. Once your computer is on the network and you have paid and signed in, it is free game time, play what you want with whoever is willing. We have been getting about 70% of the people on Friday night. I have come to the opinion that this night is what sets the tone for the weekend, and a lot of action happens Fridays.

The big day or man that went fast!
Saturday someone will be there to let computer people in by 10:30 but often as early as 10 AM. People who did not get a reserved space can call or come down about noon, that is when I will give out any spots that are not taken, it is first come first served, you must pay when you get the spot. At all of our events we have a 14-17% no show from the reserve list. If you have a reserved spot and can not make it until later let me know, I can hold it for you, but you must let me know. We will have an event with prizes at each of our events and the starting time on that will differ from event to event. We will also make an effort to have door prizes. All prizes will be given out on Saturday. Saturday we will shut it down between midnight and 3 AM Sunday.

Who's yo daddy?!
The management reserves the right to establish any rules as they become necessary, and maybe even before. Please follow our rules to maintain a pleasant gaming experience and we won't be forced to get mideval on yo ass.

General thoughts and comments
Keep in mind this whole event takes place over at least 18 hours, and perhaps as many as 25. Dont be rude, you could make good friends and valuable contacts here. Clean up after yourself and dont whine or gloat. Often when people come to a LAN they think they are at the top of the world, only to find out they are in the bottleneck, so dont get snippy.

And by all means, if you are a big dog in the kennel, don't eat the bunnies, because that will make them all run and you will be left in a kennel full of very hungry, very very big dogs.
